Singapore Polytechnic awards a Diploma to participants who complete five Certificates within a five-year validity period. Upon completion of the Computer-Aided Drafting module by the School of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering, an authorised Autodesk Training Centre, participants will receive an Autodesk Certificate of Completion (e-certificate).




B) Diploma in Engineering (Power Engineering)

This part-time diploma course trains professionals in the area of electrical installation, power transmission and distribution, power system operation and protection.

Duration: 2.5 years (Part-time programme)

Certificate in Electrical and Digital Circuit Fundamentals

Certificate in Electronics

Certificate in Electrical Circuits and Systems

C) Advanced Diploma in Process Control & Instrumentation (Revamped Curriculum) 

Focused on Process Control and Instrumentation, this advanced diploma course ideal for graduates looking for opportunities in manufacturing, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, oil and gas, petrochemical plants, refineries, power plant, research & development, maintenance and servicing industries.


Semester One:

PDC 1 Certificate in Control & Advanced PLC

Module 1 – Advanced Programmable Logic Control 

Module 2 – Dynamics and Control

PDC 2 Certificate in Instrumentation & AI for Automation

Module 3 – Instrumentation & Measurement System

Module 4 – AI for Automation 


Semester Two:

PDC 3 Certificate in Distributed Control System & Computer Control

Module 5 – Distributed Control System Applications 

Module 6 – Computer Control Systems 

PDC 4 Certificate in Industrial Networks and Cybersecurity & Process Control
